The Pittsburgh Steelers are on a bye this week, but there are plenty of things to watch in the NFL that concern the Black and Gold.
The standings show Pittsburgh leading the AFC North at 3-1, followed by the (fraudulent) Cincinnati Bengals are 2-2 and the Cleveland Browns at 1-3 and the Baltimore Ravens at 1-3. The Bengals have been atrocious since losing Joe Burrow to a potentially season-ending injury.

Jake Browning is not moving the ball through the air, despite having the best wide receiver tandem in the league in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Chase Brown is averaging 33 yards per game on the ground. The defense continues to make mediocre offenses look damn near elite.
Cincy hosts the Lions this week, and Detroit is favored by double digits. The result? Bengals fall to 2-3.
Cleveland is starting a rookie quarterback making his debut in London against a Minnesota Vikings team that is acclimated to being out of the country after playing the Steelers in Ireland last week. The Browns’ defense could cause problems for Vikings QB Carson Wentz. Bottom line, though – since Brian Flores joined the Vikes, he is 5-0 against rookie quarterbacks. Go ahead and mark the Browns 1-4.
And now … the Ravens.
Lamar Jackson might miss multiple games, meaning Cooper F. Rush will run things on offense. The F stands for “Freaking” – like “can you believe the Ravens have to start Cooper Freaking Rush against Houston on Sunday?

The offense for Baltimore will suffer, no doubt.
Probably just means more carries for Derrick Henry. But with how historically bad the Ravens’ once-proud defense has looked, can you feel confident with them against any below-average team? And make no mistake about it, Houston is below average.
Baltimore SHOULD win at home against the Texans. If they don’t? They slide to 1-4, two and a half games behind the Steelers.
