FRISCO — The Dallas Cowboys got right in a hurry. Dak Prescott carved up the Washington secondary and DaRon Bland slammed the door with a 68-yard pick-six as Dallas blasted the Commanders 44-22 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday to move to 3-3-1.

Prescott went 21 of 30 for 264 yards and three touchdowns, including a 74-yard missile to CeeDee Lamb.

Back from a high ankle sprain, Lamb looked fresh and angry with five catches for 110 yards. Jake Ferguson owned the red zone with two scores, becoming the first tight end in NFL history to record at least 50 receptions and six receiving touchdowns through the first seven games of a season.

His four-game TD streak now trails only Jason Witten’s five for Dallas tight ends.

The turning point arrived in Washington’s first series of the second half. Jayden Daniels, already down his top three receivers, injured his right hamstring on a sack-fumble by Shemar James and exited after posting 156 passing yards with a touchdown plus a 1-yard rushing score.

Marcus Mariota entered and immediately tested Bland on a late, back-foot cross-field heave. Bland jumped it and cruised for six, reminding everyone why he set the NFL record two seasons ago with five pick-6s.

Dallas stacked explosive plays all day.

George Pickens hauled in a 44-yarder to spark a lightning 35-second TD drive before halftime and finished with four grabs for 82 yards, though his touchdown streak ended at five games. Javonte Williams bullied for 116 yards and a touchdown to salt it away.

Injuries mattered. Washington lost sacks leader Dorance Armstrong to a knee injury early, while guard Sam Cosmi made his season debut. Dallas defensive tackle Kenny Clark left with an elbow issue.

Mariota led one scoring march, but a fourth-down overthrow to Luke McCaffrey ended any comeback chatter.

Next up, the Cowboys travel to Denver to face a Broncos team that scored 33 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Giants on Sunday
