Adam Schefter reports that Nabers is feared to have torn his ACL and will have an MRI on Monday.

Giants WR Malik Nabers has an MRI on Monday morning to determine if he tore his right ACL as is now believed, per source.

The New York Giants may have suffered a significant blow to their offense on Sunday as rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers exited the game in the second quarter with a right knee injury.

Nabers went down in pain after attempting to haul in a deep pass from quarterback Jaxson Dart. The injury appeared to be non-contact, which is often a concerning sign, and trainers immediately rushed to his aid. A cart was called to take Nabers off the field, and he was transported to the locker room for further evaluation.

The team has yet to provide an official update on his condition, but based on the nature of the injury, it’s likely that his day is over.

Before exiting, Nabers had two catches for 20 yards, both coming during the Giants’ opening touchdown drive. He also drew a key pass interference penalty on that possession, helping to set up Dart’s 15-yard touchdown run.

At the time of the injury, the Giants led the Chargers 10-3 with just over four minutes remaining in the first half. Nabers, a first-round pick and one of the team’s most promising offensive weapons, had been building chemistry with Dart in their first start together.

The Giants will now have to adjust on the fly, turning to their depth at wide receiver as they look to maintain their early lead and momentum.
