CBS Sports reporter Matt Zenitz is reporting that the Cleveland Browns will likely start rookie Dillon Gabriel at quarterback on Sunday against Minnesota.
If Gabriel does in fact start, he will be replacing veteran Joe Flacco as the Browns and Vikings hook up in London.

Flacco is still listed as the starter on the depth chart, but Zenitz said the “current belief” is that it will be Gabriel under center. In four games this season, Flacco has 815 yards passing with six interceptions against only two touchdowns.
When the season began, the Browns had Flacco and Gabriel as the top two quarterbacks, with fifth-round pick Shadeur Sanders as the third option. Gabriel was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft after spending time at Central Florida, Oklahoma and two seasons at Oregon. In his final season, he passed for 3,857 yards with 30 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He also rushed for seven scores as the Ducks went 13-1.
Gabriel finished his career with 18,722 yards, the second most in Division I history behind Case Keenum with 19,217. In limited action in two games, he is 3 of 4 passing for 19 yards and a touchdown.
The Browns and Vikings kick off on Sunday from London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network, as it appears the Flacco era might be over in Cleveland.
