Texas A&M’s explosive start against Florida came with a scare. In the middle of a high-octane first half, two of the Aggies’ biggest playmakers — running back Le’Veon Moss and wide receiver KC Concepcion — were both shaken up during a single possession.
With No. 5 Texas A&M leading 21-14 late in the second quarter, Moss was helped to the locker room after suffering what appeared to be an ankle injury. Moments later, Concepcion entered the medical tent clutching his left hamstring, briefly leaving the Aggies without their top offensive weapons.

“That possession could be disastrous in two different ways,” ESPN’s Quint Kessenich reported from the sideline. “Le’Veon Moss was helped off the field with that ankle injury, and later in the possession KC Concepcion entered the medical tent down here holding his left hamstring. It appeared to be a significant hamstring strain. We’ll see how those two developments impact this game.”
Fortunately for A&M, Concepcion returned to the field on the next possession, providing a much-needed boost to an offense locked in a back-and-forth battle with the Gators.
Before exiting, Moss was off to a dominant start — rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown on just five carries. His early burst helped A&M build its first-half lead in what’s quickly become a shootout, with 28 total points scored and still five minutes left in the second quarter.
As halftime approached, Aggie fans could only hope Moss’s injury isn’t serious — because with SEC play heating up, Texas A&M can’t afford to lose its most dynamic backfield weapon.
