Then there’s the weekly “Ham Sandwich” play—and this one isn’t shy.

Chris Kirk at 70-1 is the full-send long shot. It’s a massive number, but that’s the point. Kirk doesn’t need to be the safest pick on the board. He needs to be live enough to make the potential payout worth the gamble.

For bettors who don’t want to rely entirely on an outright victory, Johnny also has four placement plays.

Sungjae Im at +500 and Mac Meissner at +500 are the two top-10 selections. Both bets return five-to-one if the player finishes inside the top 10, providing a more forgiving route than picking the outright champion.

The top-20 card features Denny McCarthy at +325 and Lee Hodges at +450. Those wagers offer lower risk than the winner market while still carrying worthwhile plus-money returns.
