The tech-fueled golf revolution is back — and it’s bigger, bolder, and more star-studded than ever.
The TGL (Tomorrow’s Golf League), co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, officially announced its Season 2 schedule, promising fans high-tech drama and world-class competition when play resumes on Dec. 28.

The opening match will feature defending champions Atlanta Drive GC taking on New York Golf Club at 3 p.m. ET on ABC — marking TGL’s broadcast television debut. The 15-match regular season will culminate in playoffs and a best-of-three SoFi Cup Finals, set for March 23–24, all airing across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and the ESPN App.
Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy Headline the Show
After a groundbreaking debut season that blended innovation with intensity, the league’s co-founders are ready to elevate the game once again.
Tiger Woods will make his TGL debut on Jan. 13, when his Jupiter Links GC takes on New York Golf Club in a primetime ESPN showdown at 7 p.m. ET.
A few weeks later, fans will witness what might be the most anticipated matchup in golf entertainment: Woods vs. McIlroy, set for March 1 at 9 p.m. ET — right after the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic. Expect fireworks both on the simulator screen and in the crowd.
“TGL isn’t just golf — it’s the future of the sport,” McIlroy said earlier this year. “We’re building a format that blends technology, athleticism, and entertainment like never before.”
