The Panthers are doing more homework on Washington WR Denzel Boston, while Indiana RB Kaelon Black is drawing strong interest across the NFL.
The Carolina Panthers are continuing to stack up their 2026 NFL Draft evaluations, and Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston is the latest prospect to land on their visit list. Carolina’s interest in pass catchers is notable, especially with the team still shaping its long-term offensive identity around young talent and playmakers.
Boston has been one of the more productive wideouts in college football over the last two seasons. While playing for Jedd Fisch at Washington, he totaled 125 catches, 1,715 receiving yards, and 20 touchdowns, showing the kind of size, body control, and red-zone production NFL teams covet. His connection to Carolina is easy to spot.

Panthers first-round receiver Tetairoa McMillan previously played for Fisch at Arizona, and head coach Dave Canales also shares a coaching link with Fisch from their time on the Seahawks’ staff years ago.
That doesn’t automatically make Boston a Carolina lock, of course, but it does suggest the Panthers are doing serious background work on a player who could fit what they want offensively. The team has already invested premium draft capital at wide receiver in recent years, including Xavier Legette in 2024, so another early-round addition would be a major statement.

Meanwhile, Indiana running back Kaelon Black is building plenty of momentum of his own before draft weekend. Black is expected to visit a long list of teams, including the Jets, Broncos, Panthers, Colts, Texans, Dolphins, Packers, Vikings, Patriots, and Raiders, with the Bengals also a possible stop.
Black’s rise has been steady. After rushing for 251 yards in 2024, he broke out in 2025 with 1,040 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, helping power Indiana’s title run. He added 36 receiving yards on four catches, giving evaluators another reason to view him as a versatile back worth tracking as the draft gets closer.
