CeeDee Lamb leads the NFL in receiving yards against man coverage since 2024, a reminder of why the Cowboys offense still runs through him.

For all the questions surrounding the Dallas Cowboys offense, one thing remains pretty clear: CeeDee Lamb is still one of the toughest receivers in football to cover one-on-one.

Since the start of the 2024 season, Lamb has produced 939 receiving yards against man coverage, the most in the NFL over that span.

The rest of the list is loaded with elite names.

George Pickens is second with 882 yards, followed by Zay Flowers at 847, A.J. Brown at 808 and Jaxon Smith-Njigba at 802.

That puts Lamb at the top of a group filled with receivers known for winning isolated matchups, creating separation and punishing defenses when they decide not to give safety help.

For Dallas, that matters.

The Cowboys have spent much of the past few seasons searching for more consistency around Lamb, but defenses still know exactly where the biggest problem is. If they leave him in man coverage, Lamb has repeatedly shown he can make them pay.

His ability to win underneath, outside the numbers and after the catch makes him more than just a volume receiver. He can beat press coverage, work option routes from the slot and create explosive plays when Dak Prescott gets a clean pocket.

That also creates opportunities for the rest of the offense.

If defenses start shading safeties toward Lamb or playing more zone to avoid leaving cornerbacks alone with him, Dallas should be able to find favorable matchups elsewhere. That is where players such as George Pickens can become even more dangerous.

And that is what makes this stat especially interesting.

Dallas now has two of the top five receivers in man-coverage yardage since 2024 in Lamb and Pickens.

That gives the Cowboys something most teams simply do not have: two receivers with proven production against man coverage.

If the offensive line can protect and the quarterback play remains steady, defenses are going to have a difficult choice every week.

Double Lamb, and Pickens gets a better matchup.

Leave Lamb alone, and the numbers say exactly what can happen.
