The Dallas Cowboys are in rainy Philadelphia tonight to kick off the NFL season in prime time against the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles. After an abysmal 2024, new coach Brian Schottenheimer and newly-healthy quarterback Dak Prescott are eager to put last season behind them and look forward to a successful 2025 campaign, while the Eagles hope only to squash Dallas’ optimism en route to another Super Bowl title.
The inactives for each team have been released ahead of pregame festivities.

Last season, the Eagles swept the Cowboys by outscoring them 75-13 in the two games. Prescott left in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons and did not return for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, and Dallas realized how dependent it is on the arm and legs of their starting quarterback.
Philadelphia started last season slowly at 2-2, but caught fire afterward, and rattled off 10 straight wins after its Week 5 bye, and suffered just one more loss the rest of the way. The result? The franchise’s second Super Bowl win ever after winning its first after the 2017 season.
The Cowboys and Eagles kick off on NBC at 7:20 p.m. CT on Thursday Night Football.
