FRISCO — Brandon Aubrey kicked a 46-yard field goal as time expired in overtime, lifting the Dallas Cowboys past the New York Giants, 40-37, on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The overtime winner for Aubrey came after he nailed a 64-yarder as time expired in regulation after a feverish back-and-forth fourth quarter that saw 41 total points scored between the two teams.

Dak Prescott improved his personal winning streak over the Giants to 14 games after losing both starts against New York as a rookie in 2016, and the Cowboys have now won nine straight over their division rivals.

Both teams almost went scoreless in the 10-minute overtime period after a flurry of scores in the final 12 minutes of the fourth quarter. The final minute of regulation included go-ahead touchdown passes from both Prescott and Giants’ quarterback Russell Wilson before Aubrey kicked his game-tying field goal.

Wilson finished with 450 yards and three touchdowns, and found Malik Nabers on a 48-yard touchdown that gave New York a 37-34 lead with just 25 seconds left in regulation. That was after Prescott threw a six-yard scoring pass to George Pickens with just 52 ticks left.

New York only needed a field goal to win the game in overtime when Wilson threw a bad deep ball well inside of where in intended target, Nabers, was sprinting down the sideline free. Donovan Wilson was playing center field and intercepted the pass after a valiant effort by Nabers to knock the ball away. With two minutes left in overtime, Prescott orchestrated a drive that got the ball in place for Aubrey’s game-winner after a 14-yard scramble on the play before the kick.

Prescott finished with 361 yards on 38-of-52 passing with two touchdowns and an interception. CeeDee Lamb bounced back from three massive drops against the Eagles in Week 1 with 112 yards on nine catches. George Pickens caught a couple of important first-down balls and finished with five catches for 68 yards and a score. Tight end Jake Ferguson caught nine passes for 78 yards.

Javonte Williams led Dallas with 97 yards rushing on 18 carries with a touchdown and Miles Turner also scored for Dallas with 15 yards on five carries. Prescott rushed for 17 yards on three tries.

Next up, the Cowboys head to Soldier Field in Chicago to take on the Bears on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. CT.
