Dallas had the ball at the 2-yard line with 23 seconds left, a productive running game and a chance to take the lead. Instead, the Cowboys:
– Didn’t run the ball once
– Took a false start
– Burned a questionable timeout
– Had Dak Prescott throw the ball away on third down
– Settled for a field goal
– Kicked the ensuing kickoff through the end zone
– Then allowed Zay Flowers to get loose for a 27-yard gain

Baltimore used that final possession to set up a 56-yard game-winning field goal. We also look at Brian Schottenheimer’s admission that he may have “overcoached” Dak Prescott, the decision to play conservatively near the goal line and whether Dallas simply outsmarted itself when the game was on the line.
