Arch Manning threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns as No. 5 Texas crushed Texas State 59-7, and now the Longhorns turn directly toward No. 1 Ohio State.

On this Longhorns Daily Blitz, we break down Manning’s sharp season debut, Cam Coleman’s immediate impact with two touchdown catches, Raleek Brown’s two-score performance and a Texas defense that forced three turnovers in Will Muschamp’s return as defensive coordinator.

We also look at Graceson Littleton’s 59-yard fumble return touchdown, why Texas was able to get its starters off the field early, and what this dominant opener actually tells us before the competition level jumps dramatically.

The biggest question now: Is Texas ready to finally get past Ohio State?

The Buckeyes have beaten the Longhorns in back-to-back seasons, including the College Football Playoff and last year’s opener. This time, No. 1 Ohio State comes to Austin.
