About this episode
Is Texas Tech the best team in the Big 12 right now?
On this edition of the Red Raiders Daily Blitz, we break down the case for the Texas Tech Red Raiders as the top team in the Big 12 after a 5-0 start and a 29-7 road win over Colorado.
The biggest reason for the optimism?
The defense.
Texas Tech forced four interceptions against Colorado, including a pick-six by John Curry, and shut the Buffaloes out after their opening drive.
That gives the Red Raiders something different from the stereotypical Texas Tech team.
This team can win with defense.
