Wisconsin guard Chucky Hepburn really gave his team a spark before halftime.

Now that’s what you call a buzzer beater.

With time running out in the first half of the game between Wisconsin and Northwestern Tuesday night at Welsh-Ryan Arena, Badgers guard Chucky Hepburn launched a prayer.

And it was answered.

Hepburn hit a shot from beyond halfcourt at the buzzer to give Wisconsin a 41-35 lead at the break. He had 10 points in the first half.

That capped a steller half for Hepburn, who channeled his inner Stephen Curry by draining another long one earlier. He entered the game shooting 27% from downtown.

That’s not a bad highlight reel.
