Wisconsin basketball commit Connor Essegian makes NECC history

The lone scholarship recruit in the 2022 recruiting class, Connor Essegian is having a senior season to remember for Central Noble High School.

Earlier this season, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard became his school’s all-time leading scorer, breaking a record that had previously stood 53 years.

Last night, in a 27 point scoring effort the three-star sharpshooter became the all-time leading scorer in North-East Corner Conference history. For his career, Essegian is now up to 2,172 points and counting.

The three-star shooting guard committed to Wisconsin over offers from Creighton, Butler, Wake Forest, George Mason, Belmont and several others.

Per 247Sports, Essegian is the 250th ranked player in the nation, and the 33rd ranked shooting guard. His ability to stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting prowess will be a welcomed addition to the program.
