Arkansas is one of three teams that has played both Alabama and Georgia, who will meet in the SEC Championship.

Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman, still smarting from Saturday’s narrow loss to Alabama, was asked to compare the two teams after the game in Tuscaloosa.

“I think it’s a really good question, I just don’t, really don’t want to answer it,” Pittman said. “They’re both really good teams. Both physical. “

Arkansas fared much better against Alabama on Saturday than earlier in the year at Georgia. The Razorbacks fought hard in a 42-35 loss against the Tide; Arkansas was blanked 37-0 at Georgia in October.

HEISMAN: Alabama football QB Bryce Young adds best game yet to Heisman Trophy candidacy

The Hogs presented plenty of issues for the Alabama defense. Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns in his best SEC performance. Treylon Burks caught eight passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. The Razorbacks weren’t all that productive on the ground, rushing for 110 yards on 42 carries.

Meanwhile, Alabama’s Bryce Young torched Arkansas for 559 yards and five touchdowns in a Heisman-worthy effort.

“Alabama throws the ball more than Georgia does. Georgia, they’ve got different people. Georgia believes in turning around and hammering you and play-actioning off of it,” Pittman said. “They’re both really good football teams.”
