It did not exactly start the way anyone would hope for Boston Celtics second-year wing Romeo Langford, but by the time the 2020-21 season was over for the Indiana product, Langford had managed to show some growth as a player since his rookie campaign.
Waylaid by surgery on an injured wrist followed by a lengthy bout in the league’s health and safety protocols, the New Albany native didn’t even see the court until early April, but was knocking down 3s and guarding some of the league’s toughest covers by the time the playoffs rolled around. Averaging 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per game off the bench, we’re starting to get a picture of the player Langford could become with some run.
