Najee Harris is expected to be one of the most impactful rookies out of the 2021 NFL draft class. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected him No. 24 overall in the first round, and fans are excited to see him play, and for good reason.
Last night, the Steelers took on the Detroit Lions for Week 2 of the NFL preseason.
Harris got to showcase some of his skill, ad he took full advantage of the opportunity.
Alabama fans are well aware of how fast, elusive and all-around athletic Harris can be, but the NFL is just now getting a taste of it.
During last night’s game, Harris took a short, five-yard pass and outran four defenders, then was faced with running head on into former No. 3 overall pick from the 2020 NFL draft, Jeff Okudah.
He faked left and continued running straight ahead. Okudah wass left with no other option than to watch Harris run by him from his knees.
There’s plenty of more tricks up Harris’ sleeve and he definitely seems excited to use them.
