Could the Marcus Smart era of the Boston Celtics soon be coming to a close? According to recent reporting from The Athletic’s Jared Weiss, it is not out of the question given news Boston may be looking to shop the Flower Mound native at least in part due to a “stale” relationship between Smart and other members of the team in terms of how the Celtics play.

And it is not just the Oklahoma State product who might be on the move according to Weiss, but also wing Josh Richardson and veteran big man Al Horford. Could Boston look very different by the time the Feb. 10 trade deadline finally passes?

The hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “The Garden Report” recently dug into the potential implications of Weiss’ reporting, and what it could mean for the Celtics should they go down such a path.
