Boston Celtics fans ought to be excited about bringing over Israeli floor general Yam Madar, who has been tearing it up in the Israeli Premier Basketball League since being selected in the 2020 NBA draft by the Celtics as a high-upside stash candidate.

He showed again why the front office was so high on his potential on Thursday in a road tilt with Hapoel Beer Sheva, scoring a career-high 29 points to go along with his logging 2 rebounds and 6 assists on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor and 2-of-3 from deep in 37 minutes of play. With just 3 turnovers, it was easily his best game of this season with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

With his current league among the more talented in the world, it’s not unlikely Madar could make the leap so long as it is in Boston’s plans to have him make the attempt.

Watch the video embedded above put together by YouTuber Tomasz Kordylewski to see his career game, a rare bright spot in a largely disappointing Celtics season.
