With help from El Salvador against Costa Rica, the U.S. men’s national team can secure a spot at the 2022 World Cup with a win over Panama on Sunday.

The USMNT (6-2-4, 22 points) has home-field advantage for the last time in the 2022 cycle, hosting Panama (5-4-3, 18 points) at Exploria Stadium in Orlando (6 p.m., FS1), where its won all four competitions played.

The U.S. is latching onto second in The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football standings, behind Canada (7-1-4, 25 points) and ahead of third-place Mexico on goal differential. Meanwhile, Costa Rica (5-3-4, 19 points) and Panama are in fourth and fifth, respectively. Fourth place secures a spot in June’s intercontinental playoff against Oceania.
