T.J. Hockenson was one of many tight ends to attend the recent “Tight End University” run by Travis Kelce, Greg Olsen and George Kittle. While he was exchanging ideas and learning from his peers, the young Lions standout wound up capturing some impressive hardware.

Hockenson posted a picture on his Instagram feed of himself holding a professional wrestling-style champion belt. The belt itself says “TEU Bodyarmor Champion” but Hockenson bestowed upon himself the honor of “Heavyweight Champion” of TEU in the caption.

Showing his growing marketing savvy, Hockenson thanked sports drink Body Armor for sponsoring both the belt and the star-studded gathering of many of the league’s top players at his position.

Hockenson is looking to build off an impressive second season that saw the Iowa product earn his first Pro Bowl nod. He is the Lions’ returning leader in every receiving category.
