Apr. 19—NEVADA — Lynnville-Sully’s boys track and field team piled up top-three finishes, claimed six wins and scored 143 points at the Dave Robinson Relays on Friday.

The Hawks were five points back of champion Collins-Maxwell (148) in the team race. Baxter scored three wins, had nine top-three finishes and finished third with 95 points.

The rest of the eight-team field included host Colo-NESCO (81), BGM (68), Coon Rapids-Bayard (68), GMG (33) and Twin Cedars (4).

The Hawks split up their wins evenly, claiming three individual victories and triumphs in three relays.

Corder Noun Harder and Kyle Squires went 1-3 in the 100-meter dash, finishing in 11.5 and 12.0 seconds, respectively.

Carter Dunsbergen and Blake Rea also finished 1-3 in the 110 high hurdles in 16.3 and 17.0, respectively.

In the 400 hurdles, James Gruver and Rea were 1-2 as Gruver won in 1 minute, 0.3 seconds and Rea finished in 1:03.2.

Josh Hardenbrook (23.9) was second in the 200, Zach Morningstar was second in both the 1,600 (5:23.5) and 3,200 (11:40.3) and Gruver (58.6) and Ryan Annee (17 feet, 11 inches) were third in the 400 and long jump, respectively. Dunsbergen also was sixth in the high jump with a leap of 5-4.

The Hawks won the 4×200, shuttle hurdle and distance medley relays and were second in the 4×100 and 4×400.

In the 4×200, Squires, Caleb Rea, Annee and Noun Harder won with a time of 1:38.5. The sprint medley team of Squires, Noun Harder, Hardenbrook and Gruver won in 1:40.8.

The shuttle hurdle relay foursome of Dunsbergen, Gruver, Mason Jansen and Blake Rea won in 1:09.2.

The 4×100 runner-up team featured Squires, Annee, Noun Harder and Hardenbrook and they finished in 46.5. The 4×400 foursome of Caleb Rea, Dunsbergen, Blake Rea and Hardenbrook finished in 3:48.8.

The distance medley relay team of Owen Norrish, Braden Alberts, Bryce Richards and Morningstar finished third in 4:19.4.

Baxter’s three wins came from Cody Samson in the 800 and in the 4×800 and distance medley relays.

Samson won the 800 in 2:20.7. The 4×800 relay team of Samson, Tanner Shanks, Treyton Travis and Cody Damman won with a time of 9:51.3

Damman and Travis also teamed up to win the distance medley relay. The other two runners were Ashton Kerwin and Carson Scroggins and they finished with a winning time of 4:11.4.

The Bolts’ 4×400 relay team also was third. That foursome of Samson, Kerwin, Damman and Scroggins finished in 4:02.6.

Baxter was second and third three times each.

Rory Heer was second in the 400 (54.9), fourth in the long jump (17-9 1/2) and fifth in both the 100 (12.1) and 200 (24.7).

The Bolts scored double points in the shot put as Trice Clapper (40-9) finished second and Nate McMinamen (38-7 1/4) was third. Clapper also was third in the discus with a toss of 105-4.

Travis jumped to a runner-up finish in the high jump with a leap of 5-8, Kerwin (1:06.9) was fourth in the 400 hurdles and Logan Jones (13:40.3) finished sixth in the 3,200.
