SEE IT: Fitzpatrick sports Washington jersey for first time originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

You no longer have to imagine what Ryan Fitzpatrick looks like in the Burgundy and Gold.

For the first time since signing with the club in free agency this past March, the 38-year-old veteran took the field for the Washington Football Team this week as part of its voluntary Organized Team Activities (OTAs).

The practice sessions officially began on Monday, but Tuesday was the first open-to-the-media session, giving the chance for everyone to see Fitzpatrick in a Washington uniform for the first time.

Yes, training camp is still about two months away — meaning it will be some time before we get to see Fitzpatrick and the rest of the team in full pads. The yellow jersey that Fitzpatrick and all the quarterbacks will wear this week is a visual reminder that actual football is still weeks away.

Still, though, it’s always cool to see a major free agent signing make their debut with Washington, even if it is just an OTA session in the middle of the offseason.
