The Seattle Kraken have selected Devils F Nathan Bastian in the NHL Expansion Draft.
Bastian posted 10 points (three goals, seven assists) last season in 41 games.
All teams were able to protect a group of players from the Kraken, the NHL’s 32nd team, but Bastian was left unprotected.
The 23-year-old was originally drafted by the Devils in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
