Whenever the subject of NFL draft busts is brought up, the conversation usually starts with Ryan Leaf.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft, Leaf quickly became one of the most memorable cautionary tales in draft history, as poor play and off-field issues led to his early exit from the league.
In the years since, Leaf has been outspoken about his experience in the league, and what led to his inability to live up to the high expectations that came with his draft position.
His latest comments come as guest host of the Rich Eisen Show, and stem from his experience at the 1998 NFL Scouting Combine:
