Blazers look to a more steady future after stormy start
With a spate of injuries, a series of disheartening losses, trade rumors galore and front office upheaval, the Portland Trail Blazers are having a stormy start to the season. Billups, acting general manager Joe Cronin, and Dewayne Hankins, the team’s president of business operations, spoke Thursday at a roundtable of sorts with members of the media. It was the first time Cronin and Hankins met with reporters since recently being appointed to new positions.
