The Cincinnati Bengals improved their playoff chances by moving back in first-place tie with the Baltimore Ravens at 8-6 with Sunday’s 15-10 win against the Broncos in Denver. With their head-to-head tiebreaker with the Ravens, the Bengals are situated – for the time being – for a playoff spot.
Khalid Kareem had a key fourth-quarter takeaway to help secure the Week 15 victory, stripping the ball from Broncos quarterback Drew Lock – who had replaced injured starter Teddy Bridgewater.
Impressive efforts from linebacker Germaine Pratt and rookie kicker Evan McPherson also contributed.
Social media reactions:
The Bengals won the game with their defense.
But the two sequences that turned it were the last minute of the first half and the setup for the deep ball to Boyd.
“15-10 sounds about right sometimes when you play them.”

With #Bengals sitting at 8-6 after a rebuild, their drafting and developing of playmakers should be commended.
Ja’Marr Chase, Joe Mixon, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, C.J. Uzomah (late-rounder) — all hits.
John Ross didn’t work out there but Cincinnati batting high average.

Joe Burrow said he was “proud” of Fred Johnson starting today. Lost in the play of Cincinnati’s defense & Joe Burrow’s play is that the #Bengals won this game without their top CB, starting RT and starting RG for most of the game.
An impressive win.
