After earning a shutout victory the night before the Tampa Bay Rays once again beat the Minnesota Twins, this time by the score of 2-1.

This game was a defensive battle. For the majority of the game the score was a 1-0 Rays’ lead, which came from an Isaac Paredes 2nd inning home run. However, the Twins would tie the game in the top of the 9th with a Royce Lewis home run.

The Twins looked like they had an opportunity to score more runs, but Taylor Walls managed to force a double play to end the inning with the scored tied at one. This would end up saving the game for the Rays, as in the bottom of the 9th Randy Arozarena would send the ball over the center field wall to win the game!
