The New England Patriots quarterback has been engaged in an offseason battle with Alabama rookie Mac Jones.
Scott Zolak, a former Patriots quarterback, has said that rap music is distracting Newton because he is consistently dancing in between plays.
The Morning Huddle fantasy football newsletter talked about it in their Saturday email.
“A former Patriot QB is saying that he believes rap music is hurting Cam Newton’s game. Seriously. That was a real quote. Forget the numerous off surgeries from the punishment Cam took from playing in the NFL the past decade, rap music is the real reason Cam Newton has regressed. Somehow didn’t affect Tom Brady.”
