For the first time in nearly two years, the New England Patriots will hold open training camp practices for the fans. The organization announced the dates of the practices on Thursday.

New England will hold practices July 28-31, among other dates to be announces. These practices will be free and open to the public. The Patriots will host an in-stadium practice on August 10 for season ticket holders.

There are some changes to the practices this year. Players will not be allowed to sign autographs or pose for pictures with fans. This is in compliance with NFL/NFL PA COVID-19 protocols. Wearing of face coverings is optional according to the team website. Fans who are unvaccinated are encouraged to wear them.

Patriots fans will have their first chance to get an up-close look at rookie quarterback Mac Jones as well as the new offseason additions. It will be intriguing to see these players take the field, as a new season of Patriots football is upon us.
