Oregon and Iowa had the splashiest wins in the second full week of the college football season. As a result, they make the most significant jumps in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
The Ducks vault all the way from No. 11 to No. 4 on the heels of their victory at Ohio State. They Hawkeyes, also impressive in a victory at archrival Iowa State, climb five places to No. 7.
Alabama and Georgia remain in the top two positions following easy wins, with the Crimson Tide continuing to receive all but one first-place votes. Oklahoma climbs back up to No. 3. Oregon leapfrogs Texas A&M, which stays put at No. 5 after needing a late touchdown to escape an upset bid by Colorado.

Clemson holds at No. 6 after getting into the win column, while Cincinnati, Florida and Notre Dame round out the top 10. Ohio State slides to 11th, making this the first week the Buckeyes will not be in the top 10 since Nov. 5, 2017.
Four new teams enter the poll this week, headed by No. 20 Auburn, which will get its first major test next Saturday at No. 12 Penn State. Brigham Young enters at No. 23 following its victory over in-state foe Utah. No. 24 Arkansas, a winner over then-No. 15 Texas, moves in at No. 24. Michigan claims the No. 25 position thanks to a 2-0 start. Texas and Utah are among the dropouts, along with Southern California and Miami (Fla.).
