Another week, another subpar performance by Ohio State. This time against an inferior opponent in Tulsa. The Buckeyes ended up winning by three touchdowns, but the game was much closer than the final score would indicate.

AP voters have kept the Buckeyes in the top 10 but by the slightest of margins. OSU comes in at No. 10 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll. That is a spot lower than last week after the Bucks did not take care of business as they should have against lowly Tulsa.

Penn State made a big jump all the way up from No. 10 to No. 6 in the country. The Nittany Lions dispatched Auburn in a primetime matchup in Happy Valley. Another team that had a sizable fall was the Clemson Tigers who barely survived with a six-point victory over Georgia Tech.

Ohio State will attempt to climb back up the polls when they face Akron Saturday night in Columbus.
