Between injuries and departures, Notre Dame hasn’t had the best luck of late at the wide receiver position, and as strong as the 2022 recruiting class is, it sits with just one commitment at the position to date.
With that in mind, Notre Dame received some very good news on Wednesday as four-star, 2022 wide receiving target C. J. Williams listed the Fighting Irish among his five finalists.
Joining Notre Dame are Alabama, Stanford, Texas, and USC.
Williams is listed at 6-2, 193 pounds and is getting set to start his senior year at Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California.
