The second round of the NHL playoffs will begin Saturday when the New York Islanders visit the Boston Bruins (8 p.m. ET, NBC) in the East Division.

The Central and West division finals will begin Sunday with the defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning visiting the Carolina Hurricanes (5 p.m., NBCSN) and the Colorado Avalanche hosting the winner of the Minnesota Wild-Vegas Golden Knights series (8 p.m., NBC).

The Montreal Canadiens-Toronto Maple Leafs winner will face the Winnipeg Jets in the North Division at a date to be determined.

The division winners will be seeded based on regular-season points and play in the semifinal. The winners of those series will play for the Stanley Cup.
