Kyrie Irving exited Sunday’s Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Milwaukee Bucks in the second quarter with a right ankle sprain.
Irving went back to the Nets‘ locker room towards the end of the second quarter.
After cutting into the paint behind Jrue Holiday and catching a pass, the star point guard jumped up for a layup, came down and landed his right foot on Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s right foot, and rolled his ankle.
Irving immediately grabbed at his lower shin/ankle area and grimaced in pain for a bit before heading back to the locker room.
This leaves the Nets’ Big 3 down to just Kevin Durant, with James Harden watching from the bench for the third straight game with a hamstring strain.
