Dan Mullen is headed into his third season at Florida, having won 21 games in his first two seasons. And the Gators might be better positioned than just about any other school to come out of the coronavirus shutdown positively, returning a veteran starting quarterback and coordinators on both sides of the ball.

But where Florida might really thrive is if a handful of younger players who have seen the field for one season really start to make that second-season surge.

Today we begin a series looking at players who have gone through one non-redshirt season to see what they’ve done so far, how they might progress and how such progression could really help the Gators on the field this fall.
