Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley has been one of the top coaches in all of college football since he took over in 2017. From 2015-16, he led the offense to new heights and prepared for the opportunity to replace legendary head coach Bob Stoops. Since 2017, Riley has compiled a record of 45-8 and three College Football Playoff berths for the Sooners.

Safe to say that OU made the right choice in promoting from within rather than looking outside for the coach that would replace Bob Stoops. Now Riley has the Oklahoma football team humming along. In four seasons, they have won the Big 12 Championship every season and appeared in a New Years Six bowl game as well.
