Uncrowned has Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul results, live round-by-round updates, start time and highlights for the Tyson vs. Paul fight card on Friday at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Legendary former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson faces YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul in a blockbuster, eight-round professional boxing match live on Netflix.
Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) has defeated a motley array of opposition since kicking off his professional boxing career in 2020, knocking out the NBA’s Nate Robinson, MMA’s Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, and most recently bare-knuckle boxing standout Mike Perry. The 27-year-old former Disney star has also beaten MMA legends Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz on points. His lone loss in the ring came in a 2023 split decision at the hands of Tommy Fury, the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
More from Tyson-Paul
Tyson vs. Paul will be contested under modified rules, featuring eight two-minute rounds rather than the usual three-minute rounds in men’s boxing, and with heavier 14-ounce gloves rather than the usual 10-ounce gloves for professional heavyweight bouts. The fight will go on both competitors’ pro records.
In the much-anticipated co-featured bout, Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) rematch their April 2022 thriller with Taylor’s super lightweight titles on the line. Ireland’s Taylor, 38, defeated Puerto Rico’s Serrano, 36, in a divisive split decision (97-93, 96-94, 94-96) in their first meeting, which served as the first women’s boxing bout to headline Madison Square Garden and was widely praised as 2022’s Fight of the Year.
The Tyson vs. Paul start time for the preliminary card is at 5:30 p.m. ET on the Netflix Sports’ and MVP Promotions’ YouTube channels. The main card airs live at 8 p.m. ET, free for Netflix subscribers.

On-site report: Mario Barrios vs. Abel Ramos ends in split draw
ARLINGTON, Texas — Mario Barrios’ resilience served him well Friday night.
The WBC welterweight champion calmly got back into his fight against Abel Ramos after Ramos dropped him during the sixth round. The San Antonio native eventually cleared his head, regained control of the action at times, fought through some swelling on his face and escaped with his belt because their thoroughly competitive, entertaining 12-round, 147-pound championship clash was declared a split draw on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul undercard at AT&T Stadium.
Judge Mike Ross scored Barrios a 116-110 winner, but judge Javier Alvarez credited Ramos with a 114-112 win. Judge Douglas Robinson scored their back-and-forth fight a draw, 113-113.
Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) retained his WBC welterweight title in his first defense since he was elevated from interim champion. He was listed by BetMGM sportsbook as an 8-1 favorite to beat Ramos (28-6-3, 22 KOs), the eighth-ranked challenger for his title.
Barrios rallied in the championship rounds to prevent Ramos from taking his title. They went toe-to-toe to excite the crowd during the final minute of the 12th round.
Three rounds after Ramos dropped him, Barrios went on the offensive again during the ninth round and regained some control of their fight. Ramos built momentum by winning the sixth, seventh and eighth rounds.
After suffering a second-round knockdown, Ramos seemed cautious until he opened up on Barrios during the middle minute of the sixth round. Barrios was winning comfortably until that sixth round, but Ramos closed the gap by blasting Barrios with a right hand that knocked Barrios to the canvas
A stunned Barrios beat referee Hector Afu’s count comfortably. Ramos landed several more hard punches toward the end of the sixth round, though, including a right that snapped Barrios’ head back a few seconds before it ended.
Barrios looked sharp when his overhand right knocked Ramos off balance just before the halfway point of the second round. Another punishing right by Barrios knocked Ramos flat on his back with 16 seconds to go in the second round.
Ramos reached his feet quickly and the bell sounded to end the second round several seconds later.
Barrios won against Argentina’s Fabian Maidana by the same score, 116-111, on all three cards in his previous match May 4 in Las Vegas. Barrios still wasn’t the least bit pleased with his performance because he allowed Maidana to cause so much swelling around his right eye that he couldn’t see out of it by the end of their 12-rounder on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia undercard at T-Mobile Arena.

Taylor vs. Serrano 2 is the real main event. Rematch on deck. Strap in.
Ireland’s Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and Puerto Rico’s Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) rematch over 10 rounds for Taylor’s undisputed light-welterweight world titles.
Taylor and Serrano sold out Madison Square Garden for their April 2022 thriller, which captured the Fight of the Year honors from several boxing outlets. On that occasion, the Irishwoman edged the Puerto Rican, winning a split decision (97-93, 96-94, 94-96) to retain her undisputed lightweight titles.

Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 prediction
138 pounds: (C) Katie Taylor (+105) vs. Amanda Serrano (-140)
This is the real main event, ladies and gentlemen.
Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano II is a rematch of one of the best boxing matches in recent memory. Some even say ever, especially among women’s boxing matches. If you haven’t seen it, get hyped and watch it on YouTube because it’s a great time.
The first fight had a somewhat controversial result — nothing new for boxing at the highest level. Taylor won the fight via a split decision after coming on strong in the second half of the 10-round war. I scored the fight in favor of Serrano, with the first six rounds 10-9 for her, and the rest for Taylor via the same tally.
Serrano started the action very aggressively and dictated the fight immediately. She successfully backed up Taylor for six rounds and had her on the ropes defending. The formula worked so well that she should have gotten the nod and nearly put away Taylor in an insane fifth round. That was a wrap if she poured it on heavier in those staggering moments.
Taylor, 38, has gone 2-1 (23-1 overall) while the 36-year-old Serrano is 5-0 (47-2-1 overall) since their April 2022 clash. Taylor has shown more signs of slowing than Serrano, starting with their first fight, and there’s no reason Serrano should stray from her original game plan. If anything, she won’t lay off when there’s blood in the water. She’ll claim the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring lightweight titles, and don’t be surprised if it comes by stoppage.
Pick: Serrano

Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 12
Both empty the tank in the final stanza, trying to close out strong. Barrios landing more punches on the back foot, Ramos looking for heavier shots but not as active.
Good action from Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos through 12 rounds. The Texas crowd rise out of their seats to applaud what they have witnessed tonight. Barrios should have edged the fight, but Ramos’ performance was nothing to be ashamed of.
10-9 Barrios. Final score: 115-111 Barrios.

Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 11
Ramos has a cut under his left eye. Both men are exhausted, there’s not much defense on show and the punches don’t appear to have much steam behind them. Barrios landed a nice three-punch combo. Ramos is still trying to get close and connect with short power shots, but Barrios is keeping the fight at a distance effectively with his jab.
10-9 Barrios, 105-102 Barrios.
Fri, November 15, 2024 at 8:48 PM CST
Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 10
Barrios snaps the head back of Ramos with a right hand, followed by a flurry of shots. Most land, but not much power on them at this stage of the fight. Ramos with a good finish, connecting with a left hook and a terrific right hand in the final 10 seconds. Close round.
10-9 Barrios, 95-93 Barrios.

Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 9
Blood coming from Barrios’ nose now. Ramos lands a thudding left hook and follows it up with a three-punch combination. Barrios responds with two powerful right hands. Things are heating up now. Barrios is letting his hands go.
10-9 Barrios, 85-84 Barrios.
Fri, November 15, 2024 at 8:40 PM CST
Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 8
Barrios is still vulnerable to Ramos’ right hand. The WBC champion is moving back in straight lines and has his body weight over his front foot, allowing for Ramos to connect with single right hands. Poor defense from Barrios, and he hasn’t made any adjustments.
10-9 Ramos, 75-75.

Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 7
Ramos continues to have success with the straight right hand against Barrios — that punch landed at least five times in Round 7. Barrios connects with a left hook to the body, right hand to the face combination in the final minute. Back-to-back good rounds for the heavy underdog. This is getting tight.
10-9 Ramos, 66-65 Barrios.

Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 6
TWO BIG RIGHT HANDS from Ramos and Barrios is DOWN in Round 6! What a turnaround in this fight just before the halfway point! Barrios looks badly hurt and is just trying to survive now. He makes it to the bell. We could see a major upset tonight in Texas.

If Jake Paul wins tonight, is he the feel good fighter of the year?
Ramos is pressuring Barrios, but Barrios is countering him with the right hand. This fight is more competitive than it was in the early doing. Barrios remains ahead but the dynamic of the contest has changed.
10-9 Barrios, 49-45 Barrios.

Jake Paul shows up to the arena on some Rick “The Model” Martel shit.
Tyson wearing a leather jacket with his name and likeness on it.
In other words? Everybody is getting to do their stuff.
A much better round for Ramos, who throws a flurry on Barrios and gets through with the second set of shots. Ramos pivots around Barrios and creates an angle to land a left hand. A strong backhand in the final few seconds pushes Barrios’ head back. Barrios struggling a bit more now.
10-9 Ramos, 39-36 Barrios.
Fri, November 15, 2024 at 8:23 PM CST
I think the most baffling thing about the Jake Paul saga might actually be that the big robot guy has lasted this long.
Barrios knocks Ramos’ head back with a straight right hand, similar to the one that buckled Ramos’ knees in Round 1. Three left hooks from Ramos land, two to the body and one to the head. That’s his best success in this fight so far. Barrios ends the round with a check left hook. It’s a better showing for Ramos, but still a Barrios round.
10-9 Barrios, 30-26 Barrios.

DOWN GOES RAMOS, it was a pinpoint 1-2 straight through the middle from the WBC welterweight champion, and this time a knockdown is called.
10-8 Barrios, 20-17 Barrios

Barrios vs. Ramos – Round 1
Mario Barrios lands a hard right hand on Abel Ramos in the opening round. Ramos’ glove appeared to touch the canvas, but no knockdown was called. But Ramos’ knees buckled, and Barrios knows he can hurt him now.

Next: Mario Barrios vs. Abel Ramos
Mario Barrios (29-2, 18 KOs) puts his WBC welterweight title on the line against Abel Ramos (28-6-2, 22 KOs).
Barrios is a heavy favourite against the faded veteran Ramos, and looks to set up a major unification with Jaron “Boots” Ennis should he win tonight.
Ramos has suffered three defeats in his past five fights, but a sixth-round stoppage win over Omar Figueroa Jr. in 2021 allowed him to carry on his career at the top level. Another defeat tonight, however, could call it curtains for his 13-year journey.

Goyat beats Nunes by UD
India’s Neeraj Goyat takes a wide unanimous decision (59-55, 60-54, 60-54) over Brazil’s Whindersson Nunes in their six-round contest slightly over the middleweight limit.
Goyat wants a fight with his MVP stablemate Jake Paul. That was a dominant showing tonight and maybe he does land a bout with Paul next year. The Indian would be undersized but technically is much better.

Goyat vs. Nunes – Round 6
Goyat almost captured a stoppage in the sixth round. Nunes was on the ropes, not protecting himself, but he wasn’t troubled too much by the power. At least 10 clean punches landed though.
10-9 Goyat. Final score: 60-54 Goyat.

Goyat vs. Nunes – Round 5
Goyat unloading on Nunes in the third minute. The Brazilian doesn’t know how to defend from those punches. If Goyat was the same weight as Nunes naturally or tried to focus more on power, this fight would be over already. One-sided contest.
10-9 Goyat, 50-45 Goyat.
Fri, November 15, 2024 at 7:39 PM CST
Goyat vs. Nunes – Round 4
Six-punch combination from Goyat in the final 30 seconds, every shot lands clean on a bemused Nunes, a debutant who is clearly out of his depth at this level. Goyat didn’t land with any power in that combination, just as he hasn’t with in the majority of his work tonight. Nunes is still being backed up by some of these combos though.
10-9 Goyat, 40-36 Goyat.
Fri, November 15, 2024 at 7:35 PM CST
Goyat vs. Nunes – Round 3
Nunes is finally letting his hands go, and he does so with body work. Goyat is clearly not in supreme condition and looks to be breathing heavily; he could tire down the stretch. A pair of hooks from Goyat land, Goyat is looking to counter with short hooks. Nunes lands the left hook liver shot, no visible impact on Goyat though. Goyat ends the round with a short, curved right hand.
10-9 Goyat, 30-27 Goyat.

Goyat vs. Nunes – Round 2
Goyat is not relying on power but rather is happy to “shoe shine” on Nunes. Goyat threw more than 20 punches, walking Nunes back from the center of the ring to the ring ropes. This is a mismatch.
