Michigan has notched yet another victory on the recruiting trail.
After landing four commits earlier this week, the Wolverines reeled in a commitment from 2022 Windsor (Conn.) Loomis Chaffe offensive lineman Alessandro Lorenzetti on Friday night.
Lorenzetti committed to Michigan over finalists Penn State and Michigan State. He also held offers from Baylor, Duke, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and others.

Lorenzetti visited Michigan earlier this month and earned an offer after impressing the staff at a workout. He returned to Ann Arbor last weekend for an official visit and loved his time on campus.
Michigan emerged as the favorite shortly following his trip and was able to seal the deal this week.
Lorenzetti is the second offensive lineman in Michigan’s 2022 recruiting class, joining three-star prospect Connor Jones and 12th overall.
Lorenzetti is originally from Canada but plays at Loomis Chaffe, which is a boarding school in Connecticut.
Lorenzetti has the ability to play either right or left tackle at the next level.
“I think my overall athleticism, my technique, my size and I am very long,” Lorenzetti told Rivals.com when asked about his biggest strengths.
At 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, Lorenzetti is rated as a 5.6 three-star recruit.
