11:45 a.m. | Hunter Long among inactives

Dolphins rookie tight end Hunter Long won’t get a chance to play in the biggest game of his first season. The third-rounder is a healthy scratch for Miami at Tennessee.

The Dolphins will rely on Mike Gesicki, Durham Smythe, Adam Shaheen and Cethan Carter at tight end.

Miami will also choose to go without running back Salvon Ahmed.

The Dolphins are rolling with Myles Gaskin, Duke Johnson and Phillip Lindsay.

Safety Brandon Jones and defensive tackle Adam Butler will be active, though they missed all practices this week due to COVID-19.

Other inactives for Miami: Vince Biegel, Cameron Tom, Darius Hodge, Trill Williams.

Before the game, the Dolphins placed defensive backs Noah Igbinoghene and Sheldrick Redwine on the COVID-19 list.

Among the players who will suit up: wide receiver Kirk Merritt and defensive back Chris Milton, who makes his Miami debut.

The Titans activated pass rusher Bud Dupree from the COVID-19 list. But they won’t have wide receiver Julio Jones, due to COVID-19.
