Matthew Stafford went 12 years without winning a single playoff game, reaching the postseason just three times with the Lions. In his first season with the Rams, he not only won a playoff game, but he also won a Super Bowl ring.

He led the Rams to a 23-20 win over the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, a thrilling win for Stafford and his teammates. The Rams mic’d Stafford up for the game, capturing all of the quarterback’s emotions and passion on the field both during and after the game.

The best part of the video was when Stafford sprinted into the end zone after Vonn Bell laid a big helmet-to-helmet hit on Cooper Kupp late in the fourth quarter before the Rams’ game-winning touchdown.

“Get the (expletive) out of here,” Stafford said to Mike Hilton as he ran into the end zone.

“Hey, that’s some (expletive),” he yelled at Bell. “Was that you? Was that you?”

Stafford checked on Kupp, then went back to Bell and said, “That’s my teammate, you hear me?”

Once the Rams finally did punch it into the end zone with a touchdown pass from Stafford to Kupp, Stafford said to his receiver, “I love you, man. Whatever the (expletive) happens, I love you. That’s a big-time drive.”

When the Rams defense got a stop, you could see the emotion on Stafford as he went to the ground, realizing he just won the Super Bowl. Sean McVay came over and hugged him, sharing that incredible moment before the final kneeldowns.
