The LSU Tigers are officially on the board on the second signing day of the 2022 class. They added three-star cornerback Jaelyn Davis-Robinson on Wednesday.

He was a late offer by the Tigers staff and visited Baton Rouge this past weekend. It was down to LSU and the Oregon Ducks for his commitment. As it is becoming a tradition as of late, JDR made his decision with a little fakeout for the Ducks fan.

Davis-Robinson is listed as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and the No. 47 cornerback in the country in their composite rankings. He was highly coveted by Oregon but ultimately opted to play closer to home going from DFW to the Bayou.

The Tigers put an emphasis on improving their cornerback situation after losing four starters at the position from the 2021 class with Derek Stingley Jr and Cordale Flott heading to the NFL. Eli Ricks transferred to the Alabama Crimson Tide and Dwight McGlothern is now an Arkansas Razorback.

The Tigers are now at No. 15 in the 247Sports recruiting rankings. They are also No. 10 in the overall class rankings that factor in transfers as well. The Tigers have the No. 3 transfer class in the country behind USC and Ole Miss, who both added five-star transfer quarterbacks.

LSU is only getting started on the day.
