Michigan State added a new commit, the 15th of the 2022 class, on Tuesday night when Minneapolis, Minnesota defensive end Chase Carter pledged to the Spartans.

Carter brings a wealth of good qualities to the Michigan State football program, and his personality certainly ranks up near the top.

The Spartans won a pivotal recruiting battle against the Iowa Hawkeyes, and now they look to close the deal on a couple of other top targets.

Carter is certainly doing his part, for both the football and basketball programs, trying to bring more top talent to East Lansing with him:

Tre Holloman

MSU basketball coach Tom Izzo is hopeful that Holloman will be the first member of his 2022 recruiting class. Carter is making sure his friend knows that he wants him to join the Spartan family.

Ryan Baer & Alex VanSumeren

A pair of four stars with decisions looming in OT Ryan Baer and DT Alex VanSumeren. Both Baer and VanSumeren are four star talents that would solidify the trenches in this recruiting class. Carter is making sure to get in both of their ears’ as both players have mentioned they might commit before the month of August.
