When the New York Jets traded up to No. 14 overall in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft, they landed one of the best offensive linemen in the entire draft to help protect their investment in No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson.

But they also knew the move would likely mean missing out on one of their other favorite players in this year’s draft, Ole Miss wide receiver Elijah Moore.

Thanks to some behind-the-scenes footage posted by the team, we now know the Jets had Moore ranked as the No. 16 overall player in the entire 2021 class, so you can imagine why they were so pumped to still have him on the board when the picked again at No. 34 overall at the top of the second round:

Moore joins a young and promising offense that already features a talented second-round pick from the 2020 draft in Denzel Mims, giving Wilson plenty of talented weapons to help bring the Jets back to relevancy.
