The best high school football comeback on YouTube might have gotten some competition. Despite being down 17 points in the final 70 seconds, Arizona’s Hamilton High School pulled off a shocking upset win over Nevada powerhouse Bishop Gorman on Friday night.

Video of the contest begins with 1:10 left. Hamilton trailed Bishop Gorman 24-7, but hit a field goal to make it 24-10 to bring the lead to 14 points.

Then, things got silly.

Hamilton recovers an onside kick. With 41 seconds left, the team ran the ball for a score from about 20 yards out.

Now in a one-score game, Hamilton recovered yet another onside kick. With 14 seconds left, Hamilton threw a touchdown pass. An extra point would tie things up with 8 seconds to go.

Hamilton wasn’t looking for a tie, though. Instead of the extra point, Hamilton decided to go for two. With the receivers covered, Hamilton’s quarterback Nicco Marchiol scrambled and dove into the end zone for the go-ahead score.

Bishop Gorman had a final chance to try and pull off a win, but failed to make it happen. Despite being down 17 points with 70 seconds left, Hamilton somehow pulled off the upset.

Bishop Gorman was ranked No. 7 coming into the contest. Hamilton sat at No. 24 prior to the game.

That’s likely to change following Friday’s wild win by Hamilton.
