With the regular season at its end, players from programs across the country are looking for new opportunities, and Arkansas is no exception. Here are the Arkansas players who have entered the portal since the regular season began.

BOWL PROJECTIONS: Here’s where the Razorbacks could land

Solomon Wright, DL

Wright entered the transfer portal on Nov. 30. The 6-0, 295-pound Oklahoma native was a true freshman this season, but did not see action for the Razorbacks.

A new NCAA rule allows schools to sign up to seven additional players to replace transfers, but only those who leave the program on or after the last day of the fall semester or Dec. 15. So, Wright’s transfer opens up a scholarship spot for Arkansas, but because of the timing, that spot isn’t available until the class of 2023.

Chandler McIntosh, ILB

Little Rock native McIntosh entered the portal on Nov. 10. He was a preferred walk-on or Arkansas, not a scholarship athlete. According to his Twitter, he recently visited Memphis and has an offer from Northeastern State. Since he was a walk-on, his departure doesn’t open any scholarship availability for Arkansas.

Joshua Oglesby, RB

Oglesby was actually a track athlete for Arkansas before joining the football team in 2020. This season, he had three carries in a blowout win over Georgia Southern, but with four running backs returning next season and Trelon Smith possibly coming back as a super senior, Oglesby would have had a hard time seeing the field in 2022.

Like Wright, his departure opens up a scholarship, but not for the class of 2022, since he entered the portal on Nov. 10.

Beau Cason, WR

A Shiloh Christian alum, Cason signed with Arkansas as a preferred walk-on. He entered the transfer portal in October.
