It was a fantastic play in the moment and it was named the play of the year in the NFL. The play known as the “Hail Murray” has won an ESPY.

Not only was it the best play in the NFL, winning the Clutch Play of the Year award for the league, with the ESPY, it is now known as the best play in all of sports in 2020.

Here is the play again if you haven’t seen it enough.

After the Buffalo Bills took a 32-26 lead with 34 seconds left in the game on a Stefon Diggs 21-yards touchdown catch, the Cardinals got past midfield. With two seconds on the clock, quarterback Kyler Murray ran to his left, avoided a sack and threw a bomb to the end zone where receiver DeAndre Hopkins jumped up between three defenders in the end zone to catch the throw for a 43-yard touchdown.

It will go down as one of the best plays in Cardinals history and will assuredly be on highlight reels for the entire league for years to come.
