May 26—COLCHESTER — Tyler Graham scored five goals Tuesday and No. 2 Bacon Academy reached the Eastern Connecticut Conference boys’ lacrosse Div. I championship game with an 11-10 win over No. 3 Fitch.

Jake Chapman and Jack Holmes had two goals apiece for the second-seeded Bobcats (14-1) while Chase Goulet made four saves.

James Deichler and Josh Letellier had three goals apiece for No. 3 Fitch (8-5).

In other games:

— Top-seeded East Lyme outlasted No. 4 Stonington 15-13 in the other Division I semifinal. Matt Valakos had four goals and four assists for the Vikings, who will play No. 2 Bacon Academy in Thursday’s 5 p.m. final at Waterford, while Ryan Whaley added four goals and three assists, Wes Williamson scored four goals, Matt Hinkley two and Zach Boguszewski one.

Cam Elenteny had five goals and two assists for the Bears, who were tied 8-8 at the half, while Ben Massengale scored five goals, Will French scored twice, Tyler Simao had a goal and an assist and Nate Hennessey had two assists.

— Nate Houggy and Oliver Searle scored two goals apiece and Waterford advanced to the ECC Division II finals with a 7-5 win over Norwich Free Academy. Trevor Stinger and Jackson Huta had two assists apiece for the Lancers (7-8) while Jake Kozlowski made nine saves. Sam Sweeney made five saves for NFA (5-9).

— No. 2 Valley Regional edged No. 3 Old Lyme, 8-7, in the semifinals of the Shoreline Conference Tournament. Nick Cox scored four goals for the Wildcats (7-10).

Girls

— Bridget O’Leary and Rita Sefransky scored five goals apiece and No. 2 Fitch advanced to the ECC Division I finals with an 18-10 win over No. 3 Stonington. Nora Casey and Jessica Russo had three goals apiece for the Falcons (12-2) and Olivia Brookhart made 10 saves. Megan Detwiler and Rachel Sabbadini had three goals apiece for the Bears (9-5). Fitch will play No. 1 East Lyme, a 21-4 winner over Waterford, in the finals at Waterford Thursday night at 7:30.

— Dani Bruno scored five goals and Ryan Nagle had four in East Lyme’s 21-4 win over Waterford. Caroline Real and Nancy Alden added three goals apiece for the Vikings (13-0). Waterford is 8-8.

— Top-seeded Bacon Academy advanced to the ECC Division II championship game with a 16-2 win over No. 4 Griswold. Skylar Gustavsen scored five goals and Shannon Hickey had three for the regular-season champion Bobcats (13-4), who will play No. 3 Ledyard in Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. final at Montville. Griswold is 8-8.

— Jess English scored from a free position with 41 seconds remaining to lift third-seeded Ledyard to a wild 11-10 win over No. 2 Montville in an ECC Division II semifinal. The Colonels (9-5) will play top-seeded Bacon Academy in Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. final at Montville.

Maddie McLeod led the Colonels with five goals while Maddie Leyko scored three goals, Jess English, Kate English and Olivia Storz each added a goal and goalie Bella Drummond made 11 saves. Lily Tomczik and Maddie Gould scored three goals apiece for the Indians (12-5) while Reagan Buscetto added two goals and Madi Price and Grace Sanford scored one goal each.

— Top-seeded Old Saybrook eliminated No. 4 Old Lyme in the Shoreline semifinals 6-3. Grace Arnold, Caroline Crolius and Schuyler Greenho had one goal each for the Wildcats (8-9).
